Dr. Pabitra Sahu is working as a consultant in the department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in MAX hospital, Vaishali. He has completed his MD medicine at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. He has done DM Gastroenterology and Hepatology from AIIMS, New Delhi. After completing his DM, he also pursued a Post DM fellowship in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases for 1 year at AIIMS, New Delhi. He has several research publications (more than 30) in multiple prestigious national and international journals. He also received 1st prize in ISGCON 2020 for best research paper in both oral presentation and presidential poster presentation.  He also received the prize for best research work at the Asian Organization of Crohn’s and Colitis (AOCC 2020) conference.
He has now more than 6 years of experience practicing in the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He is well trained in all advanced endoscopic procedures (like EUS, ERCP, 3rd space endoscopy, EMR, and ESD) and well versed with all the recent advances in the field of Gastrointestinal sciences.
