ERCP

ERCP is a test that uses a combination of X-rays and an endoscope. An endoscope is a flexible, lighted tube with a camera attached to it. Gastroenterologists use ERCP to study and treat problems affecting the liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and bile ducts. The bile ducts carry bile from the liver to the gallbladder, pancreas, and intestines. Bile is a liquid that breaks down fats in food.
