EMR

EMR is a minimally invasive procedure that removes a lesion from a patient's gastrointestinal tract without removing the organ itself. This allows the patient to maintain their quality of life. The gastrointestinal tract is the passageway that takes food from the mouth to the anus and includes the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine.
